Shultz, Arnold

(born: 1882  -  died: 1931) 

Shultz was born in Racine, KY, and buried in the Morgantown, KY, Colored Cemetery. He was a blues guitarist and fiddler who is credited as a major influence on white guitarists in western Kentucky. There are no recordings of Shultz's music. He was the son of Dave and Lizzie Shultz, both of whom were born in Ohio County, KY, according to Arnold Shultz's death certificate.
