Dickerson, William H.
(born: 1865 - died: June 8, 1943)William H. Dickerson was elected State Evangelist of Kentucky in 1895 during the State Convention of the Christian Church in Hustonville, KY. He was a pastor at Millersburg, Mayslick, and Nicholasville (1895), all in Kentucky. Under Dickerson's directorship, Nicholasville had the most modern Christian church in the state; the building cost over $6,000.
Dickerson was born in Virginia. In 1910, he was the teacher at the Bible School in Louisiville, KY [source: 1910 U.S. Census]. The school had six students, one of whom was Rev. Moses Mitchell. In 1930, Rev. Dickerson was a paston in Lockland, OH [source: 1930 U.S. Census]. He died in Cincinnati, OH in 1943.
