Her online Army enlistment record is under the name Classie M. Tully, and she enlisted in Cincinnati, OH, according to her record in the National Archives, Access to Archival Databases. Clarissa Mae Tully was born in Russellville, KY, the daughter of Mollie Hardin and James Tully. The family is enumerated in the 1930 and 1940 U.S. Census.
After her military service, Clarissa M. Tully was employed as a domestic in Indianapolis, IN. She married Robert Norton on August 7, 1967. Clarissa Mae Tully Norton died in Indianapolis and she is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery.
