June Cleotta Ingram was born in Brandon (Lyon County), KY, the daughter of Eliza Young and Robert Ingram. The family of nine is enumerated in the 1930 U.S. Census. June was working as a stock clerk in Xenia, OH when she enlisted in the Army in Cleveland, OH, according to her enlistment record in Ancestry. After her military service, she was once again living in Xenia. In 1947 she returned to her employment at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where she had worked prior to joining the WACs. In 1975, she was a supply clerk in the requisition sub-unit of the base supply branch. Ingram was recognized with the February Worker of the Month Award at Wright-Patterson.
June C. Ingram died in Xenia and is buried in Valley View Memorial Gardens (source: Find A Grave). She was a sister of Esther Jane Ingram Boone.
