Neva E. Coffey was living in Louisville, KY, when she enlisted in the Army in Cincinnati, OH, according to the record in Ancestry. She was born in Burkesville, KY, the daughter of Mary B. Alexander and Bledsoe Coffey. The family was enumerated in the 1930 and 1940 U.S. Census; they lived in Monticello, KY. Neva E. Coffey enlisted in the Army in 1942 and received her discharged in 1943. She married William C. Adams, a waiter, in 1946. They were both living in Cincinnati, OH. In 1948, the couple moved to Dayton, OH, and Neva Esther Coffey Adams died there in 2006.
